ZERO DOWN PROGRAM
Countrywide has announced a new zero down program for buyer with good credit. The program has no mortgage insurance. This is achieved by a 80% down first mortgage and the balance financed with a 20% of principle second mortgage. This program can also be used to re-finance an existing home. With financing up to $500,000 this program should allow most home buyers with good credit and income and little to no down payment to achieve their real estate dream today while interest rates are lower.
Requires no down payment because borrowers use a first and second lien mortgage to finance 100% of the home. Program highlights: To qualify, buyers must have good credit and a valid social security number. The program is limited to individuals who will occupy the home as a primary residence. Eligible properties include: single-family residences, attached and detached planned-unit developments, and condominiums
